These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VibeCap (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

VibeCap is a macOS menu bar application that allows users to capture screenshots and paste them into other applications on their local device.

The App operates entirely locally and does not provide cloud-based services.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use VibeCap for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App
  • Use the App for unlawful or abusive purposes
  • Circumvent system or security restrictions imposed by macOS

3. User Content

Any screenshots or text you capture or paste using VibeCap ("User Content") remain entirely under your control.

VibeCap:

  • Does not access User Content beyond the immediate operation
  • Does not store or transmit User Content
  • Does not claim ownership of User Content

You are solely responsible for how you use and share your content.

4. Permissions and System Access

VibeCap requires certain macOS permissions (such as Screen Recording and Accessibility) to function.

By using the App, you acknowledge that:

  • You grant these permissions voluntarily
  • The App uses them only for its stated functionality
  • You may revoke permissions at any time in macOS system settings

5. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice.

We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will be error-free.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
